Just go in with zero expectations
Comparing it to Slow Horses isn’t quite fair because that show is amazing. I just binge watched it for fun because I like Ben Whishaw. Yes it’s over-the-top implausible and plot holes abound.
The trick is not to overthink it and have your popcorn ready
My DH said it was cringy and said he couldn’t get past comparing it to Slow Horses. Since season 5 of Slow Horses won’t be out for months, this is a decent substitute. I liked the chemistry between Knightley and Whishaw.and that was enough to keep me interested.
He was definitely overwhelmed (lol)
